Obtaining a college education is expensive, graduating high school essays the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts strives to provide some financial assistance to students living in Franklin, Hampden and Hampshire counties to help them achieve their goal of graduating from college.


We have graduating high school essays different scholarship funds, and each year we give away over 1, individual scholarship graduating high school essays. See our Scholarship and Loan Program FAQ for more information. Scholarships are provided for one academic year and are not automatically renewed each year. You can reapply to our program every year you are going to attend college, and the application you submit that year will be graduating high school essays for all scholarships for which you are eligible.


Step 1: Between January 1 and March 31, the application is available here. Step 2: Create an account and remember your password so you can return to the portal when necessary.


Step 3: Upload your most recent transcript through the portal. You do not have to submit an official transcript but to be acceptable the transcript must show:.


Step 4: Upload the Student Aid Report SAR you have completed for the next academic year, graduating high school essays. Do not upload the SAR for the academic year in which you are currently enrolled.


View a sample student aid report. Step 6: Return to the portal often. All communication about your application with be through the portal. This includes notification if you have been selected as a recipient. For example, if there is a problem with your application, or you submitted an inaccurate transcript or Student Aid Report, we will notify through the portal and you will have the chance to correct the problem.


Note: You will not be considered for scholarships unless you submit a complete and accurate transcript and SAR by pm, March Reviewers read your entire application and review your academic transcript. Selecting recipients is a very hard job! Awards are made subject to availability and to the policies of the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts. These policies are available for review upon request.


The Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts administers over scholarships. Some of the funds help students from a particular school or area; others provide financial assistance to those pursuing a specific field of study; still others assist students that are most in need. Students graduating high school essays apply to the Scholarship program may be eligible for many of these funds.


Once a student completes the online application, the Community Foundation will determine all funds graduating high school essays which a student may be eligible.
